It too is one of my favourites. It reminds me of my backyard in Florida where we had tons of hibiscus bushes. How do they survive the winter in MO though?
Michael- I don't usually see the hibiscus bushes outside of the botanical gardens. Most of them are in greehoused areas where they can keep it nice and warm and humid. I have seen some of the bushes in peoples yards, though, and I honestly have no clue how they survive. Dedicated gardeners, I suppose.
Isabella, no I haven't mentioned or put up photos of my other favorite flower. I may have a photo somewhere that I could dig up, but for now all I the info I can give is that they are tree flowers, pinkie-purplish, and a kind of soft wispy-feathery poof. Great discription, huh?
First time I vist your blog (unfortunately too late), though we "meet" everynow and then on Paris DP. I you love the hibiscus tree, please visit my blog "Carroir", where I recently posted about the one in my garden.
I have very good memories of St Louis, where I spent a few days in... '97 ;-)
Dream: Visit Paris to celebrate graduation.
Graduation date: 12/12/2008.
Problem: Full time college student and single mother.
Even if you can only donate a penny, you'll be helping make a dream come true!
Goal: $5000 for my friend and I! $2500 if you just want to donate for me, however my friend is also a poor college student who will be graduating with me and also deserves a trip to Paris!
$226.20 raised!

That's a beauty! Coral shade, would you say?
What's the other one you refer to? Did you post its photo?
