The Brentwood Days parade was lucky enough to have one of my favorite anchorpersons from my local news channel of choice! Kay Quinn is a woman of poise, integrity, and intelligence on KSDK News Channel 5, and I was happy to see her joining in the celebration of my town. I think all I really need now is to meet Rick Edlund and I will have seen about every local news anchor in person!

Ok Soosha, I must officially protest. If I see another car with a corny politician/local celebrity, I think I'm going to fly over there and rip that camera off of you! ;-) We've got to get you to Paris now, that will solve the problem!
Oh no, I protest! Kay Quinn is anything but corny. She is a wonderful role model for girls. But I'll tell ya what: You take over STLdailyphoto and then you can post whatever you want. No? Ok, I think I'll post what I want then! ;oP
Hopefully I'll be going out to a couple of fairly interesting places this weekend and get some new photos. The reason I haven't gotten out much lately is because the amount of studying required for school has suddenly skyrocketed and I really just don't have the time! So sorry, but school is more important that new photos of STLDP!
Hmmmm....I detect a little bit of hostility there soosh. Didn't mean for you to take it that way. Was just trying to get some dialogue posted. You go girl, and post whatever you like. How about a photo of you with the pencil in your mouth, a cup of coffee, and the books at your side as you study? Hope you're feeling better too.

No way are you getting that photo! I hate pencils! I hope you have/had fun in Beijing. Wasn't strangetastes of the other St. Louis DP just there? Man, I feel left out!
